Bio

Hi, I’m Shamini Thilarajah-Hariharan, a leader in pedagogical innovation and the Deputy Director of the Centre for Innovation in Learning (IN-Learning) at NIE Singapore. My work focuses on transforming teacher education with learner-centered, data-driven approaches, empowering educators to integrate technology effectively into their teaching.As a researcher and PhD student, I study how educators' cognitive and affective trust impacts their adoption of technology, specifically AI-EdTech and explore teaching analytics to enhance practice and instructional design.I’ve published on topics like conversational bots and blended learning, and I love collaborating with educators and organisations to bring innovative teaching practices to life.I’m also a Google-certified educator and an Apple teacher, and I’ve been honoured with awards like the Blackboard Catalyst Award and NIE Teaching & Learning Innovation awards.
